Seven boardwalks with adjacent access to the parking area allow easy beach access. A new pier has been built to separate the areas for surf-casting anglers and swimmers. Hunting - To some people it may come as a surprise that excellent game is found at the Lewis Ocean Bay Wildlife Management Area. This area is rich in wild turkey, bear, deer and quail.
